"well maybe i can sleep a little easier now, was in a little pain but most my body feels too numb to feel much of anything" then closed his eyes and went back to sleep.

The medic went on about his business. Joe came back to check on him a while later, and was talking to the medics. They were discussing the surgery, and when he'd be ready. They seemed to think he would be stable enough the next day, as he was stabilitizing quickly it seemed.

wakes up the next day, but appeared to be in another room, "where am i? and whats going on?"

Joe looks up, "look whose finally awake." He walks over, "their doing the surgery today. so in a while you'll be able to walk again. just have to relearn how."

sighs, and then says, "this isnt my first time in this kind of situation but wasnt as serious of an injury. was either just one leg or one arm or something like that and not as crippling as this. but i guess i should be glad that ill be ready again to get my revenge." closes eyes again. "im ready when you guys are." as he said with a deep breath

"It shouldnt be too much longer now," Joe said, "their prepping the OR. the operation lasts about six hours, if all goes well.so you'll be out for a while."
